Cooper seems to be going through another major growth spurt. He's been sleeping a bunch the last few days and his appetite seems to have finally increased significantly so adding rice cereal may be on the menu in the very near future. Last night he slept the entire night without waking up once. He went to bed around 10 and we had to get him out of his crib at 7 so he could leave with his Dad for school (daycare). He has become quite the morning person and will talk your ear off and laugh and smile until he realizes how hungry he is. We definitely enjoy mornings in our house and he's so fun to be around that he's almost made me a morning person ( I said almost!). He's also a lot more fun to take out, even to run errands, b/c he's so fascinated by everything that he prefers to be seeing new things rather than being stuck inside the house. Yesterday Coop enjoyed a late dinner with me and Nana at Red Robin and he just hung out in his stroller and chewed his blanket and watched the fans spin around. He's become huge on chewing on any available blanket or burp cloth available and he's almost weaned himself off of his pacifier b/c he thoroughly enjoys sucking his fist. The pacifier is really only used when he's really sleepy these days. Another major change with Coop....he's bald. In the last few weeks he started to get small little bald patches and now, as you'll see in the picture, he looks like an adorable old man with his baldness wrapping eniterly around his cute little head. Daddy wants to just shave the remaining hair......I refuse. So the latest balding episode will most certainly not change Aunt Jo's opinion that Coop is looking like George Costanza. And even though we do not like the George Costanza image we are very excited to see Aunt Jo this weekend.
