Cooper Jay made it through his first Thanksgiving. And while I'd love to share pictures of his first bite of the stuffing, gravy, turkey mash I made him, I unfortunately don't have any. Let's just blame it on the stress of the day and all that was involved and the fact that Cooper was sick, again. Not only was it his first Thanksgiving but he also managed to get his first ear infection. Which explained why he spent Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night and all Saturday morning screaming at the top of his lungs. We finally got into the doctor's office late Saturday morning and quickly started him on some antiobiotics and I believe we are seeing our typically pleasant Coopy come back. While the ear infection and cold put a damper on our time off we did manage to get in some good play time. Cooper is not quite crawling yet but we are seeing sure signs of it happening at any time, although it does look like he might just walk instead. Coop and Daddy definitely enjoyed the extra play time, so much so that this is the scene I walked in on after a wonderfully long, uninterrupted shower. (Don't worry I double checked, Cooper is breathing in these pics). He is definitely a Daddy's boy, play hard, play hard. The pictures are a little dark because the lights were out in his room and I didn't want to turn them on and ruin a good photo opportunity!
