Monday was my day off.  So Cooper and I went to the rec center to play.  Behind the rec center is a skateboard park that Cooper wanted to check out.

Doctor appointments and days off with Dad....

So Cooper is still fighting an ear infection...Wednesday morning I take Coop to the doctors and we are told it's probably time for tubes.  That afternoon I was able to get an appointment with the Children's so they can check him out.



I had to interrupt his afternoon nap for his appointment at Children's.

Afterward, we had to go grocery shopping and pick up his meds.  At home, Coop is in charge of calling the cats when it's time to feed them....so when Cooper saw the cans of cat food at the grocery store, he grabbed one and went to work calling gabby.  Here is the video....

Monday I was off, so that meant PLAY DAY for Cooper and I.  We recently discovered the Peters Twp Rec Center.

So Monday morning we headed out to play.....

Then it was time to shoot some hoops.....

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving started out quite challenging but ultimately ended successfully. Wednesday was supposed to be my day of cleaning and cooking to get the house ready for our 20 Thanksgiving guests. Cooper had a different plan. At approx 4:30am that morning he came into our room, crawled into bed with me, cried and then promptly threw up all over me. Good morning Mommy.....

We made it through the early part of the morning until we could get into the doctor's office and not shockingly, it was decided that Cooper's infamous ear infection was back. We are currently on antibiotic number 3 leading into week 4 and last night he was rubbing his ears furiously again! So Wednesday Cooper was home with me and instead of cleaning and cooking I held my sickly little boy until the medication kicked in and he was starting to feel like he didn't need me so much anymore. With the help of Steve, Aunt Jo, Nana and Pappy I was able to get Coop feeling better, the house cleaned and the food cooked and my first Thanksgiving and feeding 20 people went very smoothly and much less stressful than I imagined. Not surprisingly and what we pretty much knew all along, Cooper has a special place in his heart for his Aunt Jo. Her presence alone almost trumps Pappy and if Pappy didn't have a tractor then Jo might be in first place.

Weekend in Pictures

The weather was wonderful and Cooper is sick again....I'm hoping for a break for everyone' s sake soon.

In the meantime, Cooper loves to climb trees with the help of Daddy.....



He also loves to take pictures and says....CCCCHHHHHHEEEEEESSSEEEE!!!!



And then laughs hysterically at himself afterwards.......


His obsession with making sure the kitty's eat their dinner....he inspects the dish while screaming EEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT at them, then wonders why they run away.
