Our Little Dare Devil!

I've been mostly absent from the blog for the last few weeks but thanks to Steve y'all have received some good updates. I'm finally over my cold which lasted most of January and Coop seems to be on the mend also. I say that with my fingers crossed so tightly they could break b/c he did wake up this morning with a runny nose. And when I say he "woke up" this morning I actually mean he woke up at 1am, 3am, 3:30am, 6am and finally 7am. So as you can see the sleeping hasn't improved greatly. He did manage to sleep in longer stretches on Friday night and Saturday though, which Steve and I were amazingly grateful for. I think Coop knows when we are maxed out and I think he may have even understood Daddy when he said at 3am Thursday/Friday morning, "I can't do this, I'm so tired". So thank you Coopy, for the slight break you gave us this weekend. I've tried desperately to get pictures of his teeth but everytime I try to take a picture he covers them up with his tongue! He has 4 now (two on top and two on bottom with two more on the top on their way. On a more pleasant note, for as long as I can remember January has always been my least favorite month. The holidays are over, its gray and snowy and it seems that spring is nowhere in sight. January seems to be the month that never ends. But imagine my surprise when I woke up on Sunday morning and realized that February was here already! Thank goodness for our little boy, he's so magical that he even makes the horrible month of January fly by.

Coop is mastering the walking quite well. This video is a little dark but he started jetting around the living room using this walker that Great Pappy and Great Grandma got him. And of course its obvious he has Steve's dare devil genes b/c on his first attempt he refused to use both hands to push himself around with it. One hand only Mom, one hand only! And so it begins.....

Oh and Hannah, Robyn and Aunt Doris, your pictures are on their way!
